Hi everyone, a quick note on the latest news for our Taekwondo club.
After the new year we are straight back into training, and we have the regional South Midlands Championships to look forward to. This is the first time we have been to this event and we are grateful to Master Atkins for extending an invite to us. Make it your first competion of the year!
Shortly we will be having our first coloured belt grading of the year. We will be having another joint grading with Mr O Neil at Kingsbury Club, due to the numbers grading.
We will confirm the date shortly, but hopefully it will be before the end of February.
We will have a lesson before the grading which those grading will be obliged to attend.
After this, we will be turning our attention to Sparring and Championships! Get into sparring mode by coming down on Saturday sessions, we will be practicing sparring routines, controlled contact, kicking speed, hands, padwork and of cource points!!
Black belts must remember to attend at least one of the three Willenhall Black belt sessions in April with Master Donnelly.
Not forgetting the seminar with Grandmaster C.K Choi, 9th Dan, on the 6th March .
The venue is the John Atkinson Sports Centre, Myton School, Myton Road, Warwick,.
Green.Blue/Red Belts 11.00 -12.30 Black Belts: 12.30-2.00 pm
We now need to enrol some more new students at our club, so if you know anyone who is interested bring them along, first lessons free!!!!
We will be having a leaflet drop day- delivering leaflets to businesses and houses in the areas. If you can help please see me, thanks
In the mean time get practising; remember FAILING TO PREPARE IS PREPARING TO FAIL!
Please continue with your training and above all enjoy it. Use it or lose it!!
